Refunds and cancellation

This page covers Refresh, Refresh Plus and Custom website projects, the Website Check-Up and the Site Care plan from CyberDad Kit Sites, a service of CyberDad Kit LLC. It doesn't cover other CyberDad Kit LLC products.

Before you pay

  • You get a written scope and price by email before you pay anything. Nothing is charged until you approve it.
  • We take payment only through a secure Stripe card link or Stripe invoice. We never ask for card details by email.

When you pay

  • Refresh ($499) and Refresh Plus ($799): paid in full up front, after you approve your written scope.
  • Custom (from $1,499): a 50% deposit to start, and the other 50% at launch. We don't launch until the balance is paid.
  • Work starts when your payment (or deposit) shows as received.

The Love the Preview promise (Refresh and Refresh Plus)

  • Before launch: you see your new site as a preview before it goes live. If you decide you don't want it to go live, tell us by email any time before launch and we refund what you paid in full. The site isn't launched, and the files stay with us.
  • If your preview is late: if your preview isn't ready a full business week or longer after the target date we gave you in writing, you can choose a full refund. The clock runs from the first target date we gave you in writing. A new date we email you doesn't change it, but days we spend waiting on your content or feedback are added.
  • After launch: for one week after launch, tell us by email about anything that doesn't match your written scope. We fix it at no charge, or refund what you paid in full if we can't.
  • This promise covers Refresh and Refresh Plus. It doesn't promise traffic, rankings, leads or revenue.

Refunds on website projects

  • Before work starts: you can cancel by email for a full refund.
  • If we don't receive your content: please send it within 14 days of paying. The timeline pauses while we wait, and we'll remind you. If we still don't have it 30 days after you paid, we close the project by email and refund what you paid in full.
  • After work starts on Refresh or Refresh Plus: the Love the Preview promise above applies.
  • After work starts on Custom: we don't refund for a change of mind, because the work is being done for you. If we can't deliver what your written scope lists, we refund what you paid in full.
  • Custom deposit: the same rules apply. After work starts, the deposit is kept unless we can't deliver your scope. If you stop a Custom project after work starts, you don't owe the balance, and the site isn't launched.
  • Extra work beyond your scope, like new pages or features, gets a separate written quote first. You don't pay for it unless you approve that quote.
  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days after we issue them.

Website Check-Up ($49)

  • Paid up front by Stripe card link. We aim to email your report within about 3 business days (a target, not a promise).
  • If we can't deliver your report, we refund the $49 in full.
  • Your $49 comes off a Refresh or Refresh Plus with code CHECKUP49 at checkout, or off a Custom quote, if you start within 60 days of buying the Check-Up. One credit per Check-Up.
  • The report lists measured checks and the fixes we'd make first. It doesn't promise traffic, rankings, leads or revenue.

Site Care ($89 a month)

  • Month to month. No contract.
  • To cancel, email ruel@getcyberdadkit.com. No reason needed.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for. We don't refund partial months, and you won't be charged again.
  • When you cancel, we send you your complete site files and simple steps to move the site to another host.

What stays yours

  • Your domain stays registered in your name, at your registrar. We never hold it.
  • Your content, logo and photos stay yours.
  • Once you've paid in full, you own the finished site files (the pages, styles and images we made for your site), and you can host them anywhere.

What we don't promise

We don't promise traffic, search rankings, leads or revenue. Timelines are targets, not promises. The one exception is the late-preview refund in the Love the Preview promise above.
