Cyber Dad Kit (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our digital products.
We may use third-party tools like Google Analytics or email services that may collect data for analytics and marketing. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Advertising. Some pages on this site show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at https://www.aboutads.info/choices. Questions: ruel@getcyberdadkit.com or CyberDadKit, PO Box 940061, Maitland, FL 32794, United States of America.
When you buy from CyberDadKit, our email and checkout provider MailerLite records your order (your email address, what you bought, the amount and the date), and Stripe processes your payment.
Our emails record when they are opened and which links are clicked. If you click a link in one of our emails and then buy within 30 days, MailerLite connects that order to the email you clicked so we can see which emails are actually helpful. We use this information only to deliver your purchase and improve CyberDadKit, and we never sell it. Separately, the MailerLite signup form on our homepage and some articles may store cookies or similar data in your browser (such as local storage) so the form works; see our Cookie Policy.
You can stop marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. See MailerLite's privacy policy and Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle data.
This section covers the website order form at /sites/ and the website intake questionnaire at /sites/intake/.
What the forms ask for. The order form asks for your business name, your name, your email address, your current website address, a package (or "Not sure yet") and what you want changed or rebuilt, and lets you add whether you want Site Care, your main goals, the pages you want, a deadline, how many pages your current site has and a budget range. The intake questionnaire asks about your business and the site you want: business names, website address, business category, the street address or service area, phone numbers, email address and hours to show, licenses or memberships, your goals and customers, pages, services, text notes, links to keep (including your Google review link, if you have one), customer reviews to quote, brand colors and style, a link to your photos, documents to post, the email address that should receive your new site's contact-form messages, domain and email provider details, your Site Care choice, and the names and email addresses of the people who can request changes or approve the site.
How the order form sends your answers. When you press the send button, the page sends your answers directly to our email service, MailerLite, which stores them in a separate list used only to reply to website orders and emails us a notice of the new request. The page then shows a confirmation. Your answers are not put in a web address, and nothing is sent until you press the button. See MailerLite's privacy policy. If the page can't reach MailerLite, it says so and sends your answers nowhere else: it copies them on your device, offers a "Download my answers" file that stays on your device, and gives you a button that opens your own email app with a new email to ruel@getcyberdadkit.com (subject only; you paste the answers in). Nothing is sent until you press Send in that app.
How the intake questionnaire sends your answers. This page doesn't send or store your answers. When you press the button to send, your own email app opens a new email addressed to ruel@getcyberdadkit.com, and the page copies your answers so you can paste them in (or attach the "Download my answers" file). Nothing is sent until you press Send in that app. Your email provider handles the email you send under its own privacy policy.
Analytics. Like most of this site, these pages load Google Analytics, which may set cookies to count visits and see how the pages are used (see our Cookie Policy). Google Analytics doesn't receive the answers you type into the forms. The pages don't load ads or the MailerLite signup form.
How we use it. We use what you send only to reply to you, prepare your quote or written scope, and build and support the site you ask for. Details you ask us to show on your new site, such as your business address, phone numbers, hours and reviews, will appear publicly on that site. A website request or order doesn't add you to the CyberDadKit newsletter or any marketing list. We never sell your information.
What the forms don't ask for. The forms don't ask for passwords, logins or payment details, so please don't include them. The logo field on the questionnaire doesn't upload anything; we ask you to email logos and photos separately.
Keeping and deleting your request. We keep request emails and answers for 24 months after your last contact with us, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. To see, correct or delete what we hold, email ruel@getcyberdadkit.com or write to CyberDadKit, PO Box 940061, Maitland, FL 32794, United States of America.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub, as the host, may log visitor IP addresses for security.
You can opt-out of communications, request data deletion, or reach out for any privacy-related questions by contacting us at ruel@getcyberdadkit.com or write to CyberDadKit, PO Box 940061, Maitland, FL 32794, United States of America.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with the updated date.
